    Up for sale is one VPI Aries 2 Extended with SDS (Synchronous Drive System), HRX Drive Motor and a version of VPI's famous JMW Memorial Tone Arm with a 12" wond. According to VPI Very few of these Aires 2 Extended were ever made with a 12" tone arm. I have listened to it every night for an hour or two for the last week with a Denon DL 103R and I must admit it is a killer sounding turntable. It really gives my Technics SP10 MK2 on a Panzerholz plywood plinth with the Krebs upgrade and a JELCO TK850L a run for its money. On many records the VPI sounds better. I took it in on trade from its original owner. I thought about keeping it but again I am in business and cannot keep everything.
