RARE   HARD TO FIND
WELLS FARGO SOLID BRASS BALANCE SCALE PAPERWEIGHT
Stagecoach stamped on top
Bottom has a circle stamp WELLS FARGO & CO  1852
These paperweights were made in the 1970's, probably for the 125th anniversary in 1977. I believe they were specifically sold only in California as this was were their bank was first established. A better collectible than all the massed produced Wells Fargo items.
This item was actually made by Wells Fargo and are fairly hard to find.
Well Fargo did not have items specifically marked Wells Fargo & Co until after 1968.
