Here`s a For sale: One vintage Nivico (JVC) SRP-471E-5 idler drive stereo turntable. this cin ex condition missing the weight for arm and does not eject might need oil  . Make no mistake, this is an extremely rare audiophile quality vinyl spinner! This vintage three speed turntable works perfectly and sounds fantastic! (16, 33, & 45 RPM) It has a drive system that is surprisingly similar to the incredible Garrard 301. This turntable also has a high torque motor and precision idler drive that incorporates a magnetic “eddy brake” system that allows fine tuning of record speed on the fly. The idler drive system on this turntable is incredibly well engineered, allowing direct coupling of the motor to the platter. This results in exceptional quality of sound (PraT Pace Rhythm and Timing) that is decidedly lacking in belt, and direct drive turntables. The heavy chromed steel platter looks amazing, and provides lots of inertia for extremely low wow and flutter. This turntable runs on standard North American 120 volt 60 hz current. Cosmetically this turntable is in excellent condition, and delivers, clean, clear, accurate and detailed sound when connected to other high end components. The plinth has a genuine wood veneer finish. The smoked dust cover is in excellent condition and works properly. The tonearm is a precision unit, and tracks even warped records with ease and grace. The tonearm has a removeable head, that accepts any standard SME headshells, making cartridge changes fast and easy. The original headshell is included. The tonearm is fitted with a superb vintage Pickering XV-15 magnetic stereo cartridge and brand new Swiss made stylus. This unit is ready to plug and play and comes with all cables needed to connect to your amp or receiver. This turntable was manufactured by Nivico which was the Nippon Victor Company of Japan, and that eventually became JVC. This turntable is what I would term semi automatic manual in operation. A rotary switch is activated, which starts the motor and automatically sets the tonearm gently onto the record. When the reject button is operated at the end of the record, the arm lifts off the record, and the motor shuts off. This is therefore essentially a manual turntable. This unit sounds fantastic and offers excellent bang for the buck! It honestly must be heard to be appreciated. This exceptional idler drive turntable
