Go Anywhere Grill (WGA), Heat plate and Heavy duty grate

Description

I have expanded my barbeque replacement parts to include this replacement for the Go Anywhere Grill. This listing is for 1 plate. I have made them out of 18 gauge (.048) stainless steel (type 304) as opposed to steel with a porcelain coating or 20 gauge stainless (.034 thick).

This set includes the heavy duty grate I build as well. This is the solid 3/8" diameter rod grate I sell individually as well. I will cut the grate in half for you at no extra charge. Some customer prefer it to be in two pieces.
Some customers have asked if these plates will fit the new WGA grills that are sold without a heat plate.
I went down the local store and looked at the new WGA.
The base and top of the grill are the same
as the old ones.
What Weber has done is the same thing they did with the Q grills. Rather than build a Heat Plate they did away with a proper cooking grate and in it's stead designed a corrugated plate with slots in it that serves as both the cooking grate and the heat plate. And as is usually the case they probably serve neither purpose well.
So I put my heat plate in the grill without their grate on top and it fits just like  it did in the old one, perfect. I put the new grate/plate over my heat plate and it did not touch or interfere. The parts went together just like the original WGA.
So if you want a heat plate it will fit your new grill. However I can't say how it will work with the new grate/plate. It will probably work just fine and keep the Burner perfectly shielded.
The assembled picture was taken in the store with the new grill.

These are made out of 18 gauge (.048) 304 Stainless. Others are making them out of 20 gauge (.034) and selling at the same price as mine or maybe a couple of dollars cheaper. Mine are 40% thicker in material and will outlast any other plate currently made.  I am a professional sheet metal fabricator with over thirty years of experience.
I have been selling replacement parts on ebay for over 9 years.  Please see my feedback.
