The Silvertone Piano Orange is named after the piano or upright lacquer finish that gives the sound the unrivaled nobility of these classic instruments. The professional paintwork of the turntable involves the application of 7 coats to stabilize the wood, insulate it, level it, paint (3 coats) and finish with varnish.
In the top model Silvertone Piano Orange, the arm group is completely independent from the base and is mounted on its own legs based on the principle of magnetic levitation. Orientation with respect to the base of the motor and tonearm bases is carried out by the crescent-shaped cutout. The distances from the motor pulley to the base and arm spindle to the platter axis are fixed. You don't need any templates to set basic distances. At the same time, complete decoupling from the plinth and tonearm and motor is maintained.
