For sale are two (2) flat cream soup bowl and saucer sets by Booths England in the
A8021
Peony Blue pattern. With a total of four pieces, the blue transfer ware features a prominent peony with additional floral decorations and butterfly. Now discontinued, the Peony Blue pattern dates to the 1950s. The saucer has a scalloped edge. The approiximate measurements are: Bowl:4 3/4" wide across top, 6" wide including double handled, sits on a 2 3/8" base with a height of 2" to top of handle; Saucer: 6 1/4" wide  and 7/8" high.
All four pieces are in very good condition with no damage or wear observed. There are small divots on the reverse of the saucers from firing. While not visible to the naked eye, under magnification all of the pieces have fine crazing throughout.
