"SWAMP FOX" ORIGINAL STORE DISPLAY
- 1960 Canada Dry/Walt Disney Productions #C-2493. 10.5" x 6". Color litho on die-cut cardboard.
Point-of-purchase "shelf talker" sign with bright illustrated image of Leslie Nielsen as "Swamp Fox". This display promotes the Canada Dry Ginger Ale "Flintlock Pistol" Swamp Fox mail premium. This toy was offered for 50 cents and 2 bottle caps.
"As seen on 'Walt Disney Presents' ABC-TV Network" and  "Offer expires Sept. 30, 1960" is stated on sign.
"The Swamp Fox" was a television series produced by Walt Disney and starring Leslie Nielsen as American Revolutionary War hero Francis Marion. The series encompassed eight episodes, running 1959-1961 as part of the Disney anthology television series.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing with one small 3/16" corner paper chip on upper left (cardboard remains). The sign appears unused.
A very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
